SOLD - Antique Maytag Washer, Repurposed, c.1920s

This gorgeous machine age, early model Maytag washing machine has been repurposed by a contemporary artist and furniture-maker. The body is stripped and treated, bringing out a unique, iridescent patina to the steel. The top is replaced with thick-cut alder wood top. Brass accent hardware added to front door. 

The Maytag makes an outstanding cart or surface in a kitchen or bathroom. Fill the body with ice and use as a wet bar. It is a totally unique and versatile conversation piece.
