Kilm from Bijar Province, Iran. Unusual tribal piece made with all-natural dyes: the blue color is indigo, the red is pomegranate, the brown color is of saffron and natural wool. This is a heavy rug with a heavy weave; substantial weight for a kilim. Reversible. Please note there is a small stain; and the borders have been restored. Museum quality.
