This is a large solid softwood step back display cabinet, circa 1890-1910. A stunning American arts and crafts/ craftsman style piece from the physics lab at California's historic Stanford University.

The stacked 2 piece cabinet is composed of 6 double-door sections with shelves, featuring handmade thick glass panes, brass locks and metal handles. Solid craftsmanship and construction.

Time is embedded in the wood- the names, dates and notes etched in the unique, weathered patina reveal details about this cabinet's long history.
