SOLD - 1970 Italian Movie Poster, Le Isole Dell'Amore, R. Gasparri

This vintage movie poster for the 1970s release of Italian film Le Isole Dell' Amore, features the illustration work of artist Rodolfo Gasparri. Gasparri, known as " the Italian stallion" movie poster artist for his work on Western films, also illustrated many Italian romances and melodramas.

Here, Gasparri's work is especially memorable- the romance, the flower child and the seagulls flying overhead in a fiery orange sky create a dramatic California vibe.

We framed this fantastic piece in a wood bamboo style frame, giving it just the right retro touch.
