This 1930's table lamp meets scientific laboratory tool is absolutely wonderful! We've never seen anything like it; in fact we had to do quite a bit of research to figure it out its story.
What we've dug up- Once a heat lamp that contained mercury and produced shortwave ultraviolet radiation. With a little science of our own, we outfitted it to function as a standard lamp. The four original settings work now to flip from one bulb lit to two bulbs lit...so cool.
Composed of an streamline cast iron body with brass details, adjustable reflector shade and two bulb sockets.
We refinished the metal to a beautiful brushed finish. Stunning as a lamp, set prop or sculptural antique.
