Carved wood and hand painted writing desk, c. 1920 by the historic Rockford Furniture company of Illinois. This uncommon style is from Rockford's line of  Chinoiserie furniture. Original key included.

This wonderful piece was acquired from the collection of a lifelong antique and art enthusiast.

Excellent, well-cared for antique condition. Structurally sound. Light surface wear. No major flaws.
